Payroll App update event
When a pay run has doubled up and is edited for resubmission to the ATO should the amount be $0 or -$0? I’ve checked in the ATO portal under STP reporting and 2 identical STP pay events occurred. Odd given that there was only 1 pay run but 2 STP submissions.

@Flash In Reckon Payroll App what matters is the YTD Summary amounts. If this is correct then ignore how many STPs are showing up. If possible one can also check if employee can confirm the ATO income statement in MyGov is showing correct amounts. If there is a discrepancy in what is reported then one needs to go through Payrun adjustments. But this will involve going back a few payruns and adjusting amounts to reflect the correct YTD summary amounts expected at last Payrun. There is no concept of -ve adjustment amounts in Payroll app.

@Flash I've got the same issue as you - how did you fix? The adjusting existing pay run doesn't work as it's only in the STP system not the Pay run system. Thanks
