Company File has been lost and I have to abort the program
When trying to open my company file I get a message saying the connection to the company file has been lost and I have to abort the program. I have restarted computer and changed the name of the extension nd to ndold. I'm at a loss. I am unable to open the data file to do a rebuild and verify

The error message you have indicates that the Reckon Accounts program is having difficulty connecting to your data file.
Do you have any recent backup files from a time when you were able to open the file successfully?
In the event that the file cannot be opened, the good older backup may be your best option.
Recommend you get in touch with one of our Technical Support Team members for any additional troubleshooting and if necessary they can escalate your case to the Data Recovery Team.
