Entering ETP paid after termination.
I terminated an employee six weeks ago in Reckon Hosted, paid her out and uploaded STP. She subsequently lodged an unfair dismissal claim - my client agreed to pay an amount to appease the employee. My client's accountant supplied info as ‘ETP Type O’ with tax of $x.
How do I process the second payment into RAH?
(I have rung Reckon Support twice and been given two vastly different answers on how to record this payment in RAH. The first officer had me deleting the original termination payment and merging both payments together in a new termination. The second officer said that RAH could not handle the transaction nor report it via STP.)
I would welcome some knowledgeable advice on procedure.
Thanks in anticipation

Hi Mick
This is quite a detailed process so a bit too involved for posting on here.

i am excited to report that my problem has been solved by Shaz (alias Acctd4) in a most professional and supportive way. Shaz understood the problem and was quickly able to note the various steps necessary (with explanations where necessary) to lead me to desired outcome. Shaz has a commanding insight into Reckon Hosted, a solid understanding of the coding of tax law in regard to employee separation and an easy manner making communication easy. I would have no hesitation in seeking Actd4’s help (on a commercial basis) should I need help and support on other matters. Well done Shaz !
