Trying to register GST Branch 001 for a client in GovConnect
I was trying to register a client in Reckon GovConnect but it came up as GST Branch 002 instead of 001. The ABN is 92 092 765 056. I have not lodged anything through Branch 002 but need to register Branch 001 as this is the correct one. It won't allow me to setup Branch 001 as says already been registered try a different GST Branch. I believe it's something from previous comments that has to be fixed from Reckon end before I can proceed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, that has been completed now as well. Can you please try to register 001 for the ABN in your account when you have a chance and let me know how you go?
Cheers

I've just had a look and the branch 001 registration for that ABN was created in Reckon GovConnect last year which means its already registered to an account.
It sounds as though you're using a different account than what that 001 registration was initially created under.
I can remove the erroneous 002 registration that you've created today if you'd like. Do you have access to the original account that 001 was registered to?

Hi Rav,
That would be great if you could remove erroneous 002 registration as it's not correct. I don't have access to 001 as it's not showing on the GovConnect portal where all my other client's are?

I've gone ahead and deleted the 002 registration.
The reason why 001 doesn't appear for you, and doesn't allow you register it is because its already registered to a different account last year.
There haven't been any submissions sent under the 001 registration either so I can delete that as well so you can register it again. Would that work for you?

Hi Rav,
Thanks so much for you swift assistance, yes that would be great if you could delete the 001 registration, hopefully it will then allow me to log in & set up a new one & lodge the client's STP files.
