why does my downloaded Personal Plus V31 not launch?

I have been using Personal Plus 2022 for the last couple of years. The subscription ran out the other day and I paid to renew it but have had to change to Personal Plus V31. I have downloaded V31 - a launch button appeared after downloading which I clicked. The quicken/Reckon icon appeared briefly at the bottom of my computer then disappeared and I have been unable to launch v31. I have looked at all the downloaded files and can't see any with .exe so have no idea how to run the program.
