Super deducted mistakenly

Good afternoon all,

I mistakenly deducted superannuation contributions from two individuals who should not have been deducted. As a result, my superannuation amount is now showing an increase of $448.80 in Recon.

Please assist me in correcting this issue. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I would go back and adjust the pays and pay the employees the difference, making sure you look at the gross and the tax changes, and pay them the difference of the net. Then resubmit the STP

Hi Kris, my apologies…Actually, employee was updated in Reckon as Casual, and entered the super % as 12%. The payments to the employees were all good. I need to get rid of those super amount which is not correct.

I’m not quite sure what you mean, all employees are entitled to 12%, whether casual or payment

They are on ABN. And not exactly the employee. They work on abn.

Well then you won't be using payroll

    Wheres the problem?

Maybe just send the contractors a bill for the superannuation you paid
