After renewing license - have to download data file every time I open up the Personal Plus
Hoping someone can help me.
After renewing my Personal Plus license for another year and downloading the latest software, every time I open it, I am prompted to indicate whether I am a new or existing accounts user, then have to select "Open a file located on this computer'', find my latest data file, open it, and enter my password to restore my latest data. Previously I just had to enter my password on opening, and it would retrieve my latest data.
Is there a fix for this? Grateful any advice.

Please check the location of where your data file is kept. make sure it's not in OneDrive. also check the name length no more than eight Characters

Many thanks for responding. Yes the data file is currently located in One Drive it seems. How do I change it so it saves to a different location? And the program generates the data file name - how can I change that? For example, the current data file reads: QDATA.QDF1_20250809. Grateful your advice.
