Reinstate Terminated Employee
I'm trying to rehire a previously terminated employee and in the past, I had the option to rehire and edit the selected employee and have done this before. This option is no longer in the menu and "new employee" will only open a new card. I'm using Reckon Hosted.

Unfortunately, the βRe-Hireβoption has been removed π
If the employee was terminated in a previous FY, you can just remove the termination (βReleaseβ) Date & update their existing info accordingly.
I enter their previous termination date - & any other relevant info - in the Employee Notes π

@Reeta just told me you can fix this by putting a release date of December 31, 2099 and a last paid date of December 31, 2099
I tested this it appears to work.

@Zappy Not if the employee is re-hired in the same FY they were terminated though, unfortunately.
Editing the Hire & Termination Dates will replace those original dates in STP so the Terminated status (& therefore any related ETP) is no longer reflected if that all occurs in the same FY π©
