Reckon Accounts Personal Plus v31 fails installation

Hi everyone
I am stuck!

I had to install the latest version of Reckon Accounts Personal Plus v31.
Before downloading this, I uninstalled Reckon Accounts Personal Plus 2022. Dare I say it - it was working fine.

From there, I downloaded Reckon Accounts Personal Plus v 31. I unzipped the files once downloaded, however, I was unable to get to the part where I activate the software by entering the Installation Key. I am operating Windows 11.

I have deleted the download and started again several times without success. Now I am getting this pop-up

Any suggestions as to what to do? I am not a computer guru so please keep directions simple. I have downloaded software from other sites previously, so I think I know what I am doing normally.

I appreciate any help you might be able to give me.

Consider sharing the method that has worked for you as it may also be helpful to others who may encounter the same problem.

I have a similar problem. I am updating from Reckon Accounts Personal Plus V22 to V31. I uninstalled V22 and downloaded V31. Unzipped the file and then received an error response

"Error 5 running command .\HAB\DISK1\SETUP.EXE" Now I have nothing! Where to from here?
