Reckon Accounts Persnal Plus Getting a Side-By-Side configuration is incorrect.

Question

I recently did a Full install of Windows 11 Pro 25h2 on a brand new SSD. I reinstalled 2015 on a HHD D: drive and Reckon failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. I have now downloaded the latest version of Reckon Accounts Personal Plus v31. I uninstalled 2015, deleted the progran Files (x86) folder and installed the new version. I am still getting the side-by-side issue.

I was not running Adobe Reader but have Adobe Acrobat XI pro installed (and Protection mode was off). I have since installed Adobe Reader with Protection mode off and still no lock getting Reckon to run.

I am about to run a Windows 11 repair to see if that helps. It is there any advice on how to get Reckon to run on Windows 11. I need it to start preparing for Tax time.

Hi John. Thanks for your comments. I have done a repair to Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86 and x64 - 14.51.36231 and also reinistalled both multiple times and also run scf /scannow multiple times. With no success. I have rung Gerry and he is going to get back to me.
