2012 Server

Due Microsoft and the expiration of XP, an accountant that has been a great supporter of Reckon over many years has had to upgrade their server.

Prior to upgrading, their IT company telephoned and spoke with Reckon Technical Support, technical support advised the IT company that the 2012 server they spoke about at length would fit with the Reckon software.

After much expense and many phones calls to Reckon - Technical Support has informed the IT Compnay that Reckon Accounts will not operate on the 2012 server platform (contrary to previous advise).

Surely this is not the only accountanting practice in Australia operating on this platform! I can get detailed techncal specs if needed, if someone has a possible solution - other than each PC keeping the software and datafile on their own desktop (not a networking situation).

Does any one have any information that my be of help.
