Hi,

I rebuilt my PC with Windows 8.1 (which I had previously).

Re-applied my key and restored my backup file.  Everything looks OK.  I can enter transactions into accounts.

However each time I try to make a Loan Payment or transfer any money from one account to another a dialogue appears "Transfer Cancelled" and the transaction is not recored.

I read the article saying to make sure all accounts appear with AU$ and the default currency is AU$ - it is.

I reinstalled Reckon and the same thing occurs.

I'm not sure if the last OS I was using might have been US language and this one is GB.  However all my regional settings are as they were set to English (Australia).

Does anyone know what I can do?  I'm pretty stuck and can no longer use Reckon.

Tony

    Hi Tony,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

    Sorry to hear of your re-installation troubles.

    It sounds like your installation has lost its connection to the home currency.  You will need to uninstall your programme and re-install using the special ISsetup.exe installation file.

    Here are the steps:
    1. Backup your Accounts Personal datafiles;
    2. Uninstall Accounts Personal;
    3. Insert the Installation disk into your PC and exit any autorun screen that opens;
    4. In Windows Explorer browse to the root directory of your CD;
    5. Click on HAB > Disk1;
    6. Right click ISsetup.exe and select Run as Administrator
    You may be prompted for a username and password. Make sure you enter an Administrator username and password.

    When the installation is complete, register your product again and open your datafile.

    Detailed information on this procedure is available at:

    Hope this gets you back up and running quickly.

    regards,
    John
