Hi there,

After upgrading from 2013 to 2014 version, the AR ageing summary does not display outstanding balances.

    Hi Kila,

    Thank you for your post.

    In regards to your issue, a couple of questions:

    1) Which column in the A/R Ageing Summary Report, that it is not showing the outstanding balances?

    2) Did the preferences change from Accrual to Cash Basis after upgrading the data file from Reckon Accounts 2013 to 2014?

    3) Back in Reckon Accounts 2013 where it still showed those outstanding balances in the A/R Ageing Summary Report, have you identified which transactions are not showing in the report in Reckon Accounts 2014?

    To see isolated the issue if it is file-related or program-related, is this issue also occurring in the sample company file?

    If in the sample file is fine, then you can always perform a data integrity check on your own data file by doing a verify and rebuild.

    Verifying checks for data integrity. Rebuilding fixes data corruption and refreshes/defrags the data.

    That is,

    File -> Utilities -> Verify
    File -> Utilities -> Rebuild

    A further explanation can be found at http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=336

    Hope that helps you.

    Regards,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

    No customer name nor balances are showing, only the total line is showing but with a zero balance.

    The preference did not change, its still on Accrual basis.

    We did not have this problem in the 2013 version.

    We have several company file on the same server, however the other company file do not have this problem.

    I tried to verify the file but its not responding, even backing up not working.

    Please help.

    Regards;

    Kila

    Yep some times back ups can take awhile... especially if you havenot done if for a while... and then even longer if you are doing a verify backup.... very important.... as this reduces the .tlg file that holds the information of every transaction since the last verify backup...(found in the folder on your pc that holds the company file)

    glad to hear that you managed to back up and get the error fixed.

    cheers
