ABA file not accepted by bank

I have a client trying to upload a ABA file to ANZ Direct Online.  The bank is saying the file format is not supported and that a csv file is required.  I have not had this issue.
Has anyone come across this problem and how do we resolve it?

    In the first instance can I get you to generate your .ABA file again and take note of where you're saving it and then upload again.

    Let us know how get on and if you encounter the same error?
