ABA file not uploading onto bank correctly

When I upload an ABA file onto our bank, it uploads with an error, and a balance of zero. The bank told me it was self-balancing, and encouraged me to check the preferences to turn this off, which I was unable to find.

Is there an option to turn self-balancing off that I can't find, or another option I can look into?

Hi Amy,

Go to Chart of Accounts
Right Click on Account used for EFT/ABA Banking
Edit Account
Online Bank Details Tab
Untick "Include Balance Record"
