Accountants copy transfer file

I am using the Reckon Enterprise accountant edition 2019 R1 and trying to convert an accountants copy transfer file (QBX) into a work file. I keep getting an error msg 'filename entered is too long or not a valid file name' I have changed the file name but I still keep getting the same message and the file will not convert. Can someone please help me??

check the location of the file too - if there are lots of folders/subfolders this could cause a problem -try copying it somewhere simple first?
