accounts hosted trade receivables missing from chart of accounts

Reckon Accounts hosted 2019 - trade receivables not in chart of accounts list. If i do balance sheet report i can see trade receivables but if i go to chart of accounts list it does not appear. I am trying to do bad debt journal but i can't select trade receivables as the account.

    Melissa.  It sounds like you have somehow managed to make the account inactive.  Down the bottom of the listing of your chart of accounts, there is a box called Include Inactive.  If you put a tick in this box you should be able to see your "inactive" Trade Receivables, with an "X" next to it.  If this is the case you then need to make it active again by right clicking on it and then selecting Make account active.
