Admin login

Reckon Accounts login asks me for "You need to login as Reckon accounts administrator to proceed. Please enter the Admin (owner) password for the Company) just for one of my files.. I have neve had a password for this file and it was OK last time I opened it. Using Reckon Premier edition 2016

Probably you simply need to use Admin at the top and leave the password blank...and it should open - if in fact you have not assigned any password to the file. You may have set passwords for other files and the login 'thinks' one might have been set for this file too.....Try that anyway

Many thanks. I find I did close this particular file with a password which I have found and am able to open it. How do I now get rid of the password so that the file opens without one?

Go to Company (top of screen) Set Up Users, enter existing password, choose Edit User when the Admin is highlighted, remove the Password/s. That should leave it blank. Exit file, log back in with no password.
