After sharing my company file with my accountant, now I have to restore from backup

After sharing my company file with my accountant, every time I now log in it says the company file you selected cannot be found. And I have to restore from backup every time. Why is this happening? Do I need to I share the company file?

    After you share the company file - it is moved to a shared folder - so the next time you want to open it - don't just click on the file name in the No Company Open (its not in that spot anymore as its been moved when shared)  .... so you have to click the Open an Existing Company button - then click on the shared folder and find the file in there - you only need to do this the first time - after that it will show in the box...  It sounds like with what you are doing - the person you have shared the file with might be opening a different file to that which you are opening?  I would be checking that all the data is in the right place now?

    Thanks so much, but where is the shared folder? I click on open or restore a company file, click on open a company file.... then where?

    On the QDrive, instead of your file it is now a folder, open the folder to find the file.
