amazonaws

I use Reckon Accounts for Home and business to manage my finances, even though I closed the business some time ago. For the last two weeks, when I click on the update button for share price updates, Reckon gets the share price updates without problems. BUT my Malawarebytes program warns me it has blocked an outgoing connection to:
s3-ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com generated by qw.exe.
I am not game to exclude this from warning as I read that the legitimate amazonaws site is being used to spread criminal programs. Please advise.

    Hi Lou,

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.
The connection you've highlighted is the service we utilise to obtain currency downloads.

When you are performing a One Step Update, do you have BOTH shares and currency options selected for download?

    Hi Rav,
Yes I did leave currency as default for many years. The problem only showed about two weeks ago.
I am happy to report that I have now unclicked the currency download and the site warning has disappeared in MalawareBytes.
    Thanks for your advice.
