Android and keyboard

Using Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 when l go to log in Screen for my company file can bring Keyboard up but no matter what l type nothing appears in password field .
Spoke to tech support this morning was told reckon only supports Android Vers 5.1
if this Is the case my tablet is useless to Me and therefor Reckon is useless to me as well as this is why l have it
Any suggestions gratefully accepted

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your post.

We have noticed that on few Samsung devices, you will have to use the Google Keyboard (Link is for Google keyboard in Google Play) . Ensure that Google Keyboard is set as default keyboard input method before you login to Hosted and use that to enter your password.

Another approach too, is a nice keyboard layout such as a FREE APP:  Swiftkey keyboard” .  Whilst this is targeted for smartphone on Android (and we've used it extensively for Reckon under Android v4.3),   it is worthy of consideration on a 10" device too.
