Any updates with sending payslips?

A few months ago there was an error/glitch when sending payslips via Accounts Hosted. I've been away on leave for 2 weeks and I came back this week, noticing it still hasn't been fixed. I have to send 55 payslips manually. You can probably tell I'm very happy about that. Has there been any updates or cheats about getting around the error?

Hi Kellie, what is your issue?  I'm using RA Hosted (NZ version) and sending payslips easily once a fortnight since April 2015.

Hello, when I click File> Send Forms all the active payslips vanish. Quite a few people had the same issue and Reckon didn't really provide a good solution. I have two companies on RA and one works fine, while the other (that has more staff mind you) doesn't. I can send invoices OK, its just payslips.

HI Kellie.  You have been involved in more than one post regarding pay slips so it is very difficult to know what your current issue is.  I had a recent problem using Windows 10 and the desktop version and the pay slips would not send.  The fix that worked for me was as follows:
    1.  Find the program icon on your desktop (not the shortcut that you might have somewhere else)
    2.  Right click on the program icon and click on "Run as administrator" and login using the same method as otherwise
Now try and send your pay slips.  After pay slips emailing failed again last Monday, I went looking for clues on the community and then found my fix that I had posted a couple of weeks earlier which I had forgotten about  So this is now working for me and hopefully it might for you too if that is what your problem is.  All that I have to remember now is to open up the program from the desktop icon and run as administrator.  John L G

Hi Kellie.  Just another point that I found out.  Outlook must be running before attempting to email pay slips, or that will potentially cause the process to fail as well.  John L G

Hi John, thank you for your response. Outlook is always open and running when I try to send the payslips. I'm using Hosted so I don't have a program icon. If I do, I cant find it :S Ill search the community and see if there's a way.

HI Kellie.  Here is something else that you could try.  I have reported that on my home computer, I have severe difficulties in printing anything, basically rendering the process totally useless  This relates to Hosted using Google.  That problem related to the preview for printing taking minutes to appear in some cases, or not at all, or even for just a split second.  This happens to be a problem world-wide and I suspect that your problem is related.  I suggested to Reckon that this printing problem seemed be potentially a case of the PDF viewer or printer failing to activate and they were going to have a look at that. But my way of solving my problem was to download the browser Opera and use it for Reckon Hosted.  Apart from the cursed hour-glass problem, I have had a clear run with everything else.  Opera works pretty much the same as Google and apparently uses a similar platform.  I would strongly suggest that you download Opera and then try opening Hosted in that and see how you go.  You could get a very pleasant surprise, just like I did.  Best of luck.  John L G

    Hi Kellie,

Another issue you should consider is that the first payslip in your email list is corrupt.  This will blank out the rest of the list.  See this KB for an explanation and procedure to correct it.

    regards,
    John

I got it working. I did the menial task of going File> Send Forms to send and repeating that until the forms showed up. They were old payslips so I "removed" them and until there was none left. Then I sent the payslips normally.
