Are you able to view the STP file before lodgement?

Wondering if you are able to download and view the STP before lodgement? I have a file that has had payroll duplicated in two separate programs, but only STP filed in Reckon up to changeover, so need to see which employees are duplicated..

    Hi Wendy,
    You can view the details of the submission in GovConnect prior to actually sending it to the ATO.
    Click on the 'Details' link on that particular submission in GovConnect to view employee data.

    Thank you. Sorry, should have added - in excel? Is there a way to convert it? I couldn't understand all the conversion process as it looks the same as word pad as it does in excel..

    Thank you. Sorry, I should've been clearer - I was hoping to view it in excel to see if the two programs STP files will balance to year to date figures before final submission. I have the other final STP in excel so was hoping to merge and balance!
