ATO Error Message

Hi Rav, 

I received an error status from ATO regarding the first payroll run that we submitted through Reckon Portal. Please view error message below. 

The element 'AddressDetailsPostal' in namespace '' has invalid child element 'CountryC' in namespace ''. List of possible elements expected: 'Line1T' in namespace ''. Hint: while processing parent element [AddressDetailsPostal] child mandatory element [Line1T] was expected but not found

What might be the problem and how do I fix it?

Hi Michael,
Can I just double check if you're using the micro-business app or the GovConnect service? (Your post is marked with the STP app).

If you're using the GovConnect service;
Did you submit a Full File Replacement OR a normal pay event submission?

Can you please submit this again but please ensure that its a NORMAL pay event ie. not created as a Full File Replacement in your Reckon accounting software.

If you receive an error message after submitting a normal pay event file, can you let me know what exact message is?

Hi Rav. i get the same error message as Michael. I'm using Reckon GovConnect to lodge & originally submitted as 'update pay event'. I even tried 'full file replacement' this morning but the error message remains.

In your case, is the pay event you're trying to submit supposed to be an Update Event/Full File Replacement OR is it just meant to a normal/regular submission?
