ATO unable to open Payment Summary Lodgement File from GovConnect

Hi All,

Just notifying you all that ATO having issues pulling across data from our client’s lodgement files. When lodging the payment summary via GovConnect the ATO is rejecting this file or receiving an  “Unable to open” error from their end. The ATO have advised they are currently looking into this matter. I will update you as I receive more information. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Maybe this is related to my post 3 months ago titled "
ATO EMPDUPE Missing TFN numbers" ? The ATO was having problems way back then as well.

Hi Robin - yes they were, but have only just pin-pointed the issue at their end.

Our accountant had the same error message and after many attempts, I had to manually send in Payment Summaries!
