    Hi Charlie,

What program are you using?  Reckon Accounts Personal Plus, Home and Business, Accounting, Plus, Premier, Enterprise, Hosted, Reckon One, etc?

    Regards,
    Shane

    Hi Charlie,

Currently we are not able to do this in Reckon One sorry.  I have heard that this might be possible through SmartVault in the future, but will need to double check this.  SmartVault is a document management solution that works with Reckon Accounts business range.

I will confirm and get back to you.

    Regards,
    Shane.

Hi Charlie. We have this on the list of future functionality for the mobile app. I do not have an expected timeframe yet but it is definitely something we are investigating. With the app and web being linked, part of this investigation is looking at how this could/would be accessible via web as well.

    Hi mvdb,

Sorry, I replied to your post in the other thread before seeing this one!

The addition of this functionality through Reckon One's integration with SmartVault is certainly on the cards. Unfortunately at this point however, there is no ETA just yet. I'll keep you updated as more info comes to hand.

    Cheers
    Rav

Hi Everyone,  I am in my second day of the Reckon One trial and I do like it.  It suits the purposes of my small business. Great was my surprise, when I started looking for the attachment option and couldn't find it. Which is why I joined the discussion. :)

Yes, it is absolutely amazing that this feature is not standard to any accounting system such as this.

Fortunately for me my work-around is already in place, except for some minor editing.
I have all my bills saved as PDF in Dropbox. All I do is rename the PDF file by adding the Reckon Bill # to the front.  At least this way I can easily find the bill that the transaction relates to.

Hopefully this helps someone else, while Reckon One gets their act together.

    Regards,
    Madelein

I have just started looking at an accounts package for a service based business.
The ability to snap my receipts while on the road is essential for me.

    Thanks for your input

Hi Tim, Thanks for your comment. I try to have as little paper as possible, so I scan and upload everything to Dropbox. I use the TurboScan app for iPhone. It is great for scanning with your mobile phone and emailing the attachments to yourself as PDF or Word. You can choose to scan A4 or receipts. Here is the link to the Apple App Store. I don't know if there is an Android version. http://www.appstore.turboscanapp.com Good luck.

Hi Rav thank you for the update. I reviewed SmartVault and at $17 per month this is more than Raakon One itself. Also it does not enable you to put in more than an invoice. The price is prohibitive for those using this as personal/small business software. Please Rexkon this query has been going on for over a year.

Got to agree with Andrew on this one. I'm still in my 30 day trial period. For now I can cope without the ability to attach documents, due to the process I have already in place.

My needs for what an accounting system must offer are not great; however, if I find some glaringly obvious issues, with Reckon One, I'll review my options too.

    Regards
