Backing up for two days. Get to 99% and hangs. No response from reckon support. Already lost one day production. Need sorted by Monday

Hello Shelley,

Back ups will fail if there is a corruption in the datafile.  

Firstly, create a file copy of your company file in Windows Explorer to act as your backup.

Next, examine the QBwin.log file in Q:>Log - select the file verify_rebuild_data.log and click Open.  It will download to your local PC.  Open it in Notepad, scroll down to the bottom to the last error identified.  Follow up on the problem/s identified.  Check the KnowledgeBase for the error message for a guide to fix that issue.
