Backup in Reckon Personal Plus 2015 not working

After installing Reckon Personal Plus 2015 and restoring my old Quicken Personal backup, all went well, I added a few transactions then tried to do a manual backup and nothing happened.
I looked at the settings in Edit/Preferences/Program/Backup but still no joy.
Upon closing, a number of times, still no prompt to backup just close.
Can anyone help?

    Hi Adrian,

    Sorry to hear you are having some difficulty in backing up.  

    I'm not sure I understand your problems so if you could provide more explanation of your experience.

    Here is my backup configuration:

    I am being reminded to do a backup every time I close the file.
    It will save 5 backups before deleting older backups
    I will be warned if a backup is being overwritten
    The backup path is specified
    The date will be added to the backup.

    I have noticed if I do a backup and then exit the file I will not be asked to do a backup.  

    If I backup, enter a few transactions then exit, I will not be asked for a backup - I'll let the developers know of this behaviour.  

    At any rate you should be getting a backup at least at the frequency set in your Preferences.
