can my employees get help setting up payroll

Quickbooks Plus 2008-2009 - wanting to set up payroll. Can it be done on this version and if yes, how can we get help? I've had a look and can see there is a payroll system but not sure what some of the info required is. This is in Australia too if you need to know.

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Yes your version of QuickBooks will allow you to do payroll.  Check your installation disk - there should be a user guide in the main directory.  You can get the user guide for the latest edition (2017) here.

You are using a very old version which contains out of date tax tables so tax calculations will not be correct.  Also. running that version on recent computer hardware will result in some loss of functionality and others not performing as they should - see these links:  link1 link2.  You should consider an upgrade to the latest version to ensure you remain compliant with all requirements regarding payroll.
