I can log on to Members Area

Links for "Product Download" and "Tax Table Upgrade Guide" work correctly

If I click the download link for Tax Update, just goes back to Members logon screen

Tried 3 different browsers on 2 different computers
(Edge, Chrome and Firefox)

("IKC" has been edited out for security )

Hi Steve,
Is there any difference if you attempt to download the tax table update from our Downloads page here -
https://www.reckon.com/au/support/product-updates/?cat=RA2019TaxUpdate

Steve - I have done a bit of a test here - I used a client's ID & PIN that isnt eligible for this update and I got the blank page you describe, then I used a client's ID & PIN that is eligible and it went to the download page correctly... perhaps check your expiry date on your subscription?  Maybe there has been a delay in updating it?

OK that explains it

I purchased RA2018 "Perpetual Licence" 27-May-18.
This entitled me to RA 2019 R1 as it was within the 12 months from purchase

So we are back to the "Perpetual Licence" controversy
Now 13 months after the purchase.......
As it is perpetual licence, I can continue to use RA2019 R1

So I am allowed RA2019 R1 but not R2

After much frustration trying to download R2....
Would have been nice to see words to that effect when attempting the R2 download...
Not happy....

hmm... not sure where you purchased?  I would always recommend to users that if they have payroll and an ongoing need for remaining current with our ever changing ATO/payroll environment - to always be on a subscription.  Which version are you using?  Plus?  Perhaps you can ask Reckon if they would convert your Full version purchase back to a subscription purchase?

Thanks Linda. For purpose of reply to your comment....

Purchased on-line and download from Reckon
I am not using Payroll

So the Tax Update is not critical for my purposes.....

BUT IS IT ONLY a tax update, or also contains bug fixes ???
And there are bugs, but that's another story...
If it contains bug fixes, then Reckon should be REQUIRED to provide the update for current product

Advantage subscription is poor value
High cost just to stay up to date
Technical support ?
Only need to peruse this forum to see how poor is the technical support

And don't even suggest cloud product !!
Again peruse this forum to see the issues

There is a principle involved here
I think should AT LEAST be able to get updates for the CURRENT version of the desktop product
