Cannot Print through the new printing feature of Reckon Accounts Hosted

Some users are finding that printing invoices from the PDF created by the new printing feature in Reckon Accounts Hosted, fails.

With an Internet Explorer browser you will get messages like:
  • A drawing error occurred
  • Document could not be printed
  • There were no pages selected to print
With a Chrome browser, the session freezes.  

We have traced the source of this error to format setting in the Invoice Template.  

You will need to do the following:
  1. Go to the Layout Designer for your Template
  2. Highlight a block with a border > right click > Properties;
  3. select the Border tab
  4. In the Pattern section, select Normal.
  5. click OK > OK > OK to save and close.
You should now be able to print without any difficulty.
