Cannot restore a qbb file from the accountant even though we both have the same edition.

Cannot restore a qbb file from the accountant even though we both have the same edition, Accounting 2011/2012. Cannot open from a trial version of Accounting 2013. Restores from Accounting 2013 without update. If I update in 2013 it comes up with the same message as when trying to open in 2011/2012. Box appears saying it cannot open the file because it was created in a different edition. Very frustrating

    Hi Zenon

    Can you Please confirm what edition your accountant is using they might be using quickbooks premiere 11/12 while your using Quickbooks accounting 11/12.

    If this is the case you will need to contact your accountant and have them re send you the proper version of the file, even though you both are using 11/12 accountant might be using an edition other than accounting to work on the file.
