Cant see shared company file

Hoping for some help please. Our company has two hosted log ins. We also have multiple company files.  One particular file is not showing on one of the log ins. I have been in and shared the file and it shows it has been shared however when we log in to one of the users we can't see it.  Can anyone offer any suggestions.

    Hi Leanne,

    Thanks for asking.

    Firstly, can you confirm that the User does appear on the List of Users with access to that shared file?

    If they do not then share it to them again.  Otherwise please call technical support for further one-to-one assistance.

    Thanks John, yes the user does appear in the list. I was trying to avoid a lengthy conversation with tech support and was hoping someone might have a quick fix.

    Just wanted to share our file with our accountant and went through the process of sharing the file with support, results are as follows:

    To share a file, go to the control panel and the file should be in the “Share Your Company File” if not you may have already shared it with someone else.

     If the file is already shared with someone else, go into “Manage Shared Folder Access”, the top 4 files will appear if none of these are the right file, click on anyone of them then scroll down until you find the right file (in our case there are many which I was advised not to delete any).  Select the file needed it will then show who it is already shared with, then add it to the window below, select the file and press next, select or search the user id and add, then press next.  Then you are able to grant access.

    We have just followed Kerrie's process and shared our second Company file (both logons already have access to 1 company file but not the other).  I have waited 30 minutes and tried to access again but can not find the shared file on my q drive at all to open.

    Hi Wendy,

    Your old session is most likely still logged in.

    Please go into the Hosted Control Panel > Log Off Remote Sessions > Log off any sessions running > Log back in again

    In control panel, clicked on share your company file, select my user but NO company files appear to share....??
