If your restored data file no longer includes your attachments, then there probably wasn't enough room to back them up.
When you back up a Reckon Accounts data file with attachments, Reckon Accounts backs up your Reckon Accounts data first, and then backs up the attachments only if there is room. If there isn't room for all of your attachments, then none of your attachments are backed up.
To back up your attachments, you need to free up or add space to the location where you're backing up your data file.
You may also be able to resolve the issue by removing some of the attachments from your Reckon Accounts data file, or by making a new year file to reduce the size of your data file.
No problems Theresa, I wasn't sure from your post what the exact message was that you received so I was just checking.
Tim, firstly opening backups needs to be performed with a great deal of caution. Now that said - what type of backup did you perform? Compressed (.RKN) or normal (.QDF)?
