Cash Basis GST tracking

Can someone help me i am having trouble with Quick Books Pro 2012-13 as it wont save the gst in any reports even though I have stated that my business is on a cash basis and tracks taxes. How do I set track taxes up in this program? Help!

Hi Jan,
Under Preferences, Reports & Graphs if you select Company Preferences, in the default Reporting you can select whether you wish to include or exclude GST (Net/Gross) in your financial reports.
With reference to the BAS report ensure you have configured by selecting the correct tax codes for respective fields so that all transactions with a tax code will appear correctly in the BAS report.
