Casual employees: Setting up the pay items I had to choose "Overtime" to allow me to enter a payroll multiplier (eg. 1.25 for 125% loading) but when I do a pay run and use that pay item it does not multiply the employee's base rate of pay.

    Hi Rob
I am a payroll expert, just not in reckon One, I do know R1 can be restrictive, and O/t is usually 1.5 & 2.0, you are trying to set up time & qtr.

You also said you HAD to choose!!  What is it you are trying to setup an actual overtime or the 25% casual loading

    Thanks for your response.
A Reckon consultant sorted this out. I needed to enter the the base rate for each employee by using the "N" (normal) pay item and ensuring that the "Base Rate" column was ticked.
Each employee then needed to be set up with an "N" pay item specifying their base rate plus any Casual loading pay item.
Set up this way the Casual loading item used the rate multiplier correctly.
As I sort out the first time use issues it looks like Reckon One should do the job.
    Thanks Again
