When I try to login to the Reckon Portal it says incorrect username or password

    Hi Donna,
    Have you created a Reckon Portal account already or is this your first time creating the account?

    If you've already created the account on a previous occasion you can use the 'Forgot sign in details' option to reset your credentials.

    I gather just because I use Reckon Hosted I don't automatically have access to the Portal unless I have set up an account.  What details do I need to set up an account?

    Did you try logging into the Reckon Portal with your existing Hosted login details?
    Is that where you came across the error message?

    Yes I did and I couldn't get in.
    I asked for a new password, which I have now made a new one.
    I could then get into the portal, have been able to get my Software ID and advised the ATO through my AUSKEY.  Just now wondering if I have now somehow made a new Reckon One account as I have received an email about a demo for Reckon One.
    Not sure what has happened.  Are you able to check if everything is set up correctly.

    Good stuff Donna.
    You don't have any Reckon One services set up, you can disregard that email. Its an automatic email that comes through to advise you of services that are available in the Portal.

    Thanks for that.
    Just wondering why I couldn't get into the Portal with my normal username and password that I use when I login to Reckon Hosted.
    I thought that was what the Webinar said yesterday.  Or is it that I didn't have a portal account in the first place?

    Yes Donna, the Portal account is completely separate to your Hosted one.  Every Reckon user - regardless of whether they use Reckon Accounts, Reckon Accounts Hosted, Payroll Premier or Reckon One - who wants to commence STP reporting needs to have/create an account in Reckon's Portal as this is the centralised gateway for getting the data out of your file to the ATO.

    I don't deal much with Reckon One, but it's my understanding that the sign-up process for Reckon One is actually within Reckon's Portal (as Reckon One is an online/cloud product) so users of R1 will already have an account ....

    Hi Rav,  i have just moved from reckon desktop to hosted. i created the payroll but at the point of opening up the portal and signing in i misplaced my sign in details. i exited to find them but cannot seem to re-open the portal in hosted unless i create another payroll. what can i do?
