If I never use Accounts Hosted to process credit card payments, why is this thing permanently ticked whenever I say I receive a credit card payment? This has been going on for at least 3 upgrades.

Hi Chris,

Welcome to Reckon Community!

This may be caused by the Payment Services being enabled from the Online Preferences.

Go to Edit | Preferences | Online | Company Preferences.

Hope it helps!

Kind Regards,

Jamaiel

From memory, following your advice would mean I can no longer say it was a credit card payment. I just want to say it was a credit card payment but not have the software engage the matter any further.

Hi Chris,

Payment Services is a Reckon Product - Add On that is managed PayPay for integrating Customer Payments to your Bank Account,

If you do not use this Service, then you can still continue with disabling this from the Preferences but still consider payments via Credit Card.

Jamaiel.

Good to see you PSG chaps up and helping on a cold Sunday morning.....

Angie in NZ sorted this for AUST last year at:

https://community.reckon.com/reckon/topics/does_your_business_business_accept_credit_cards

Not sure what the current 2015R2 status of RA Hosted is for NZ versions presently.

Perhaps you could comment on NZ too?

Cheers!

Jamaiel   ....   I believe Chris still has a valid point when he seeks clarification about:
