CSV file opens when trying to save

I've created my SAFF file in Reckon which is in csv format but when I try to Download it, I select the location and the file then OPENS in Excel which causes it to become corrupt - it adds the plus symbol in cells where numbers are too long (eg. ABN number, Member Fund Number), it drops zeros from the start of member numbers as well and therefore is not accepted when I upload to our Super Clearing House website. I've never had this issue previously - the file would just save where I specify and then upload fine.
Is this some setting in the back end that I need to turn off so the file doesn't actually open and only saves?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Which Browser are you using to access Hosted - different browsers react in different ways?

I'm using Chrome, which I've always used without an issue. I also tested downloading other files to my PC, such as a report exported to Excel, and it saved fine, didn't open... just seems to be the CSV file type that's opening

Unfortunately I work on our company server and the internet settings are managed by a third party IT department so I couldn't make any changes... I did however just attempt it OFF the server using Chrome on my laptop and managed to download the file (without it opening) and have now uploaded it successfully to the Clearing House website! Bit of an annoying process but it's a workaround I'm happy with to get he job done!  Thanks for your suggestion though - I might lodge a ticket with our IT team to get the settings changed for future :)
