CUSTOMER PRICING BASED ON CUSTOMER PRICE LEVEL AND VARYING ITEM PRICE LEVELS

Our pricing is based on a markup % on average cost. Customers get allocated a default pricing level. Each Item has 4 different pricing breaks, List Price, Wholesale A, Wholesale B, and Wholesale C. We have around 6,000 product lines. Each item can have different markup %'s for each of the List Price, Wholesale A, Wholesale B and Wholesale C. The problem I see with the way the pricing model works in Enterprise, is to control this scenario would require a huge amount of work to get this right per item and a drop down price list option would be too lengthy and too difficult to manage. Am I seeing this correctly or have I missed something? Is there a third party product that may provide a solution?
