In customers I have their 'Terms' set but when invoices are generated the terms field is left  blank.  When I run the ageing report the due date is set at 14 days even though I don't have any 14 day terms set in terms.  I only have 7 days, 30 days & DOR.  If I manually change the terms on each invoice then the due date is changed and the ageing report is accurate.  We issue 300 invoices a month so manually changing 'terms' is not a easy task.  Please help???

Hi Trish.  Check the template setup for your invoices (lists>templates).  From a printing perspective, it seem that you do not have a tick in the "print" column, for the terms to be printed on the actual invoice when generated.

Thanks John, at this stage I purposely have not included the 'terms' & 'due date' on the printable invoice, I only have these set on the 'screen' version.  Only because as invoices are generated the 'terms' & 'due date' fields are inaccurate.  The 'terms' is blank (even though on the customer file I have set this to either 7 or 30 days) and the due date is calculating at 14days - I cant find any preference settings for due date..... i'm really stumped.

Hi Trish.  Have a look at this, if you haven't already done so.  Go to Lists>Customer and Supplier Profile Lists>Terms List and have a look and see how the various terms have been set up.  There is possibly something there that is causing your problem to occur.  It could also be worthwhile to set up a new "terms" item, to your choosing, and see how this might be reflected in a new invoice that you issue with this specific terms being used.

Hi John,  All terms are set to 'standard' 7, 30 or DOR - can you identify anything wrong by the report attached?
