I’m still a newbie with Reckon and I'm trying to set up an invoice template in Hosted for a mechanical r&m business. In the invoice header they require A/c #, Speedo reading, Make of vehicle, Model of vehicle, Engine #, Rego #.

The A/c # is ok. For the Speedo reading I’m using the ‘FOB’ field. For the Make I’m using the ‘Other’ field. For the Rego I’m using the ‘S.O. No.’ field. I’m now stuck on where/how to add fields for Model and Engine #.

Also, as the ‘Other’ field/box is small, when I create the invoice it obviously doesn’t display the entire Make description that I’m entering (I know it displays on the invoice but the customer would like to see this when creating the invoice. Can the size of these fields be changed?

    Hi Mike,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

You can create "Define Fields" in the Additional Info tab of the Customer Record, and these fields can then be included on the Invoice.  You'll need to create a custom invoice  (Customise > Manage Templates > Copy > Additional Customisation > Header) and then go to Layout Designer to format your invoice.

    Here's an example:

    Hope this helps,

    regards,

Thanks John, that looks as though it'll solve the issue. Very much appreciated.
