In order to rename a data file, you will need to know where it is located.

DATA RECOVERY: How to find the company file location on Reckon Accounts business range (Desktop)

Once you know where the data file is and can successfully navigate to the drive and folder location:

1) Select the file to highlight it
2) Press the F2 key on the keyboard
3) You will now be able to change the name by overwriting the existing value
4) Press the Enter key to save the change (keep the file extension (.QBW) unchanged)
