Date on invoice incorrect when created from an estimate.

When i create an invoice from an estimate, the date on the invoice is before the date the invoice is created so the due date is incorrect.  How do I ensure the invoice date is the date actually created?

Hi Thomas,

Thank you for your post.

I have replicated it on my system:

  1. Created an estimate and dated last week
  2. Converted to an Invoice from within the Estimate Window
  3. The date field changed to today's date in the Invoice window
It could be an issue with your Invoice template.

Please try changing the template first (or create a new one from Lists> Templates > right click, select NEW) with another invoice (so it remembers the last invoice template used).

Now go back to Estimate and convert it again and see if that works on the new template.

Another area to look would be under your preferences...

General tab/ my Preferences
Use today's date as default or use the last entered date as default
