Deleted file upon update

Ive just tried to update the POS file for our licence and the file has been deleted. NOW I cannot use it and the store is open. How do i get it back to operating

    Welcome to Reckon Community!

    As what Andrew mentioned, the update of license, is this the re-registration of the product? or an actual update of the program?

    Moreover, files do not get deleted during activation or program update - as by default, it installs to a new install directory.

    Just to clarify:
    1. What is the version of Reckon Accounts and POS do you have?
    2. Are you able to open POS Admin
    3. And is the issue occurring with POS Terminal?
    4. Do you have two computers for POS? On in front and one at the back?
    5. If so, how are they networked?
    6. What is the message or error experienced when opening the program?
