Difference in my superannuation Reconciliation

I have a difference in my superannuation reconciliation, this is due to a negative payroll item that shows on the super report as a positive amount. Can anyone explain why?

    Hi Carly - I'd need some more information about that payroll item to diagnose the issue.  

    What type of payroll item is it (wages/deduction etc)
    Which super report are you running and what report are you reconciling it to?  
    Are you referring to Super Expense or Super Payable?
