Yes you do.   ABout every 3 years,  for piracy protection reasons,   the software needs to be re-activated via a regsitration  process.  Software older than about 2013 needs to be done by telephone and not via online internet, because the database used for most products prior to then was handled from overseas, whereas bonafide Aust/NZ based customers need to re-activate via Reckon Sydney.  Perpetual licenes don't incur another fee,  they just need to be 'vaildated' as being still used by the same original purchaser.  It's a simple, free phone call M-F business hours.
