Does anyone know how many times you have to tick do not display "merchant account service message" before it stops popping up?

I have ticked the do not display this message more times than I care to think about yet it still


keeps on popping up...it's a first world problem I know but why even have the option if it doesn't stop it from displaying?

Hi VM,
How long has this been happening for? Is it a relatively new occurrence or been going on for a while?

You're using Hosted correct?

Hi Rav, yes have been using hosted for at least 7 years.  The message has always been popping up since then but a big bank reconciliation recently with the message constantly popping up tipped me over the edge!  I have tried every combination ("see how", ticked the do not display, "not now") to see if it would go away to no avail. 

The credit card processing option doesn't suit our business model - having this message constantly pop up isn't going to change that - it just irks me!  FWIW, it only appears when payment method is "credit card".

Do you have 'Enable Payment Services ticked? (Edit > Preferences > Online > Company Preferences)

If so, are there any credentials input in the fields below the tick box?

No I haven't.  I had searched the community for an answer for this issue previously, this solution came up and I tried it but then all I got was a pop up message asking for credit card details so I unticked it.
