Down loading share prices - all OK with the exception of S32 (South32) - this has failed since the s

Problem downloading share price for South32 (S32).

All other stocks including US stocks load correctly - 63 of them.
Go into stock and try and update individually and it fails.
Summary at end of download does include it as a failed attempt.
Does the fact that the symbol has numerals in it cause a problem?
I have checked symbol with ASX and it is OK.

It shows as failed with the following error message, when update is requested from individual stock entry.:

I have just read the problems others have had - unless an answer can be given it looks like I may need to delete stock and re enter losing all of the manually entered data from the last 2.5 years.

    Thanks Dave,
Yes checked all of your suggestions and it stays the same. It appears others have add to remove initial S32 listing and reenter in the past - I just object to entering all the 2.5 years of data again - after having to enter it manually in the past - my fault should have looked at it when I first entered the shares!

    Bill,

I have been getting prices for S32 since 2015 and, with the exception of the debacle at Reckon when all one step share price downloads were not possible for about 2 weeks with the 2016 "update" version of RAP, it is still working OK.

With the 2016 "update" to RAP, it became essential that the security details followed the prescribed descriptions and for some stocks, I had to modify the "Asset Class" and security "Type" in line with the default values in RAP.  Previously, Quicken would work OK with certain user-created values for these descriptions.

    Margaret

For S32, my Security details are as follow  (in Portfolio right click "Edit Security") :

    Name:  South 32 Ltd

    Symbol:  S32

    Type:  DirectAusShares

    Exchange:  Australia

    Currency:  Aus. Dollar

    Asset Class:

    Single   Australian Stocks

Do you have s32 or 532 instead of S32 ?

If you look at Investing > Security List

    Check you have:

no hand for "Hide" in front of the Symbol S32

Asset Class : Australian Stocks  (this is important)

Currency : Aus. Dollar  (this is important, but hard to change)

    You could also tick "Watch"

I have Type : Industrial, but I don't think this is important

The other option is to select Online > One Step Update

Then select "Select Quotes" (top right) and see if S32 is listed and has a green tick.

If all this is working, I don't know.  Do you have it listed twice ?

If you are looking at Investing > Security Detail View

Have you selected to display "Price History" or "Market Value" ?

    Select Price History.

Not many other possibilities I can think of !!

My prices just updated to $3.83
