Downloadable offline information needed urgently !!

I have been filling in your feedback forms for years... Every time there is a problem with Reckon / Quickbooks we are forced to sit on our hands and wait for you guys to fix it. The solution may be 15 minutes away - but is often in play for hours and sometimes days.

Reckon users still need offline access to their basic information in these instances. Please resolve this issue by creating a "backup" even if it is "view only" at least it will be better than what we are left with now.

Have you been making your own backup of the data file and copying it to your local PC?

If not, then really you should consider it.

Reckon does provide Hosted users with a local desktop copy of the program "Reckon Accounts Enterprise" in  single-user version that users can use when the hosted platform experiences a problem.

According to one of the community posts by the Reckon Community manager, you need to contact the Customer Service team who will issue you with a licence and a download link to the installer for the desktop Reckon Accounts Enterprise software.

I will definitely be contacting them for that ... shame they haven't mentioned that in any of their correspondence with us ...  Oh, the other question is - is it compatible with Macs? This is why we went to Hosted Premium in the first place...
